  Hello Everyone!

As I write this I am hearing predictions of abnormally warm conditions in the next couple of days and then maybe some snow coming.  I just want to fill you in on a few items.  We are going to hold a wiener roast/chili dump on the 21st of January whether we have snow or not.  You can park in the lot at the County Park in Waupun and we will hold it at the the usual trail intersection just down the trail.

For starters make sure your membership is renewed for this season.  It had been reported that  memberships are very low this year.  Please remember to join even if there is no snow this year.  We marked the trails for the season, please join the club for this season.  I think there are many more snowmobilers out there that need to join a club.  More club news notes are that the Winter Raffle tickets a here, most all of you will have them accompanying this newsletter (if it is not in the email form).  Please sell them to help offset the costs of running the Tucker to keep the trails YOU ride on nice and smooth!  This is one of our bigger fund raisers for the club.  The winners will be drawn on February 25th when we will have our Winter Jam at Spirits in Waupun.  You’ll notice it is an all cash raffle which is enticing to anyone who supports us by purchasing some tickets.  If you are unable or unwilling to sell the tickets please return them to Waupun Drift Jumpers, P.O. Box 57 , Waupun WI 53963 , or you can contact a club officer to arrange a pickup of the tickets.  Any tickets that are NOT sold are a loss to the potential profit of the event.  The FDL County ride will be held Saturday Jan 21st.  That reminds me to list the numbers for you to call for openings based on snow conditions.  Dodge county is (920)386-3705 and FDL county is (920)929-6840.   Visit www.awsc.org for information regarding scholarship info for you folks that have graduating seniors in your families AND get the latest info about the $2500 Insurance benefit you may receive.  Contact me for scholarships available through the Dodge county association also  .Here are a few local events also: Winter Picnic Jan 21, 2012 10 am -4pm Mayville Gun Club, Farmersville Road Mayville, WI 53050, Vintage show & ride weather permitting Food, Drinks, Raffles; Beaver Dam Sno-Kats Breakfast Jan 29,2012 The Bell 8am-1pm; Water Loo Poker Run Boondocks in Hubbleton Jan 28; Burnett TT Riders Brat Fry on the trail Jan 28; Burnett TT Riders Breakfast Feb 12 at the Burnett Town Hall 8am- 1pm; Neosho Races on the Pond sponsored by Ridge & Valley Feb 11.
